Over half of all investor activity on Crowdcube now happens on a mobile device, and this continues to grow. We’re keen to ensure that mobile investors have access to the best possible Crowdcube experience, and we’ve responded with significant improvements to our investor journey on mobile web, coupled with the launch in 2016 of our native Crowdcube iOS App. Today we’re delighted to make the native Crowdcube mobile experience available to investors with Android devices.
Our native mobile applications allow you to browse investment opportunities, follow opportunities you find interesting, and archive those that are not suitable for you. Investing is quick and easy, and the status of all your investments is available in your portfolio. You can be notified of new investment opportunities when they launch, and they are synced to your phone for browsing offline. Access to Company Updates and Discussions is not available in today’s Android release, but will follow in a future update.
Since launch, over £9m has been invested through the Crowdcube iOS App, and one in five investments on Crowdcube are now made in this way. We hope that our investors with Android devices find our Android App similarly engaging and enjoyable to use.
The Crowdcube Android App is now available on the Google Play Store, and is supported on any smartphone running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and above.
