Seni Glaister, Founder of WeFifo

WeFiFo launched in 2016 and is a multi-award-winning platform that enables enthusiastic home cooks, Supper Club hosts and professional chefs to share their food with paying guests. The company's founder, Seni Glaister previously co-founded and ran The Book People, a £100m turnover company.

Lana Elie, Founder of Floom

Floom, an online marketplace that makes it easy for consumers to buy high quality and unique flowers, is backed by the founders of New Look and AMC Fresh. Lana and her team launched Floom in February 2016 and since then, has expanded into the US so they can bring more amazing bouquets to even more people.

Riya Grover and Lyz Swanton, Co-founders of Feedr

Feedr is a marketplace connecting offices with the best artisan eateries. Disrupting the corporate catering and the food-delivery industries, Feedr uses technology to build personalised menus and a smart operations model to group deliveries. Since launching in 2016, Feedr has served 40,000 meals, with 300% revenue growth in 12 months.

Tamara Lohan, Co-founder of Mr & Mrs Smith

In 2003, Tamara and James Lohan were frustrated by the lack of a reliable boutique hotel guide, so they co-founded Mr & Mrs Smith and published their own. Since then they've attracted more than 1.5m discerning customers from across the globe.

Meg Haggar, Founder of Raw Halo

Just four years on from launching, Raw Halo is an award-winning raw chocolate brand that's listed in over 400 stockists in 20 countries, including Booths, Harrods, and Whole Foods. The Mylk and pink himalayan salt bar is a favourite in the office!

Emily Bendell, Founder of Bluebella

Founded in 2005, Emily has created an award-winning lingerie and nightwear brand that's stocked in the likes of ASOS, Figleaves and House of Fraser, and wholesales to more than 25 countries.

When Crowdcube launched, we set out to democratise investment for investors and entrepreneurs alike, so it's encouraging to see that 17% of the businesses that have funded on Crowdcube have a female founder or co-founder at the helm, compared to just 13% of VC-backed businesses.
