Tribal’s 100% organic sports and active nutrition products are a Natural Fuel for Life and offer the energising and revitalising benefits of the Baobab superfruit. Tribal is returning to Crowdcube to fund new protein and hydration products and a brand activation marketing campaign.
Tribal uses the energising and revitalising properties of the Baobab superfruit to create energy smoothies that are less concentrated than some other sports nutrition brands and are easy on the stomach. Tribal smoothies offer vitamin C, antioxidants, fibre and electrolytes as a natural performance fuel and recovery solution for active lifestyle consumers and also double as a 100% organic, on-the-go snack.
Sustainability is at the heart of Tribal’s ethos. Our baobab is wild harvested by cooperatives in Africa, bringing income to people and helping to preserve the local ecology. Along with our certification from the Organic Food Federation we have set our sights on attaining B Corp status and are helping to lead the drive towards fully recyclable pouches with a prototype pouch made from polypropylene which we aim to launch in 2021. Our packaging is made from Forest Stewardship Council materials.
Retail Success: Our energy products are currently listed in Sainsburys and we have distribution with H&B and Superdrug, who intend to list the products in multiple stores, which includes our new protein pouches. We are listed on Amazon and are also in early-stage discussions with Ocado and key European FMCG retailers. Tribal also plans to double its existing product offering in 2021 and launch hydration and plant protein recovery products and Baobab energy snacks.
