Originally established as a single store retail premises in Leeds in 2003, The Baby Room (TBR) was acquired by the current owner and mother of two, Bindey Mirza in 2017. Under new leadership, The Baby Room brand promptly relaunched with a focus on luxury nursery goods, babies and children's designer clothing, footwear and furniture. This relaunch was supported by an emphasis on digital promotion that saw the business grow from £300k turnover in 2017/18 to £4.7m in 2018/19 with a net profit of £101k.
