Stem + Glory is a plant based restaurant chain on a mission to disrupt the restaurant industry by serving plant based food delicious enough to turn everyone vegan. With two busy restaurants in Cambridge we are now seeking funds to launch a 3rd location in London and prepare the brand for a roll out

  • Demand for meat free options grew 987% in 2017
  • Vegan restaurants massively under-represented nationwide
  • First Stem + Glory site annual revenue growth of 84%
  • London restaurant planned in high footfall Old St location

Idea

Stem + Glory is on a mission to change the way we view vegan food by offering healthy food, kinder to the environment, with no compromise on flavour.

Demand for plant-based food is seeing huge growth. Last year Ocado saw a 1500% increase in plant-based food sales, and Just Eat a 987% increase in demand for meat-free meals. Despite this growth, vegan restaurants are under-represented. Of 18,302 restaurants in London, just 0.1% are fully vegan.

Stem + Glory offers the opportunity to invest in a proven and ethical project, right at the start of an emerging market set to grow rapidly over the next 10 years.

Stem + Glory founder has spent years immersed in the plant-based scene, and the team has a wealth of experience in the leisure and hospitality sectors, including brands such as The Ministry of Sound and CAMYOGA. We believe there’s huge potential for Stem + Glory within the restaurant sector for high-quality vegan dining alongside fast-service lunch, brunch, vegan craft beers and fine wines.

Funds will be used to invest in a new high footfall London location, as well as develop the brand ready for a wider national rollout.

This is not only your chance to invest in an exciting emerging restaurant brand but also to join us on a mission to help lessen our impact on the environment.

Disclosure: sales at first location grew from £47,885 in the period of Nov16-Jan17 to £87,533 in Nov17-Jan18
