Age UK estimate that of 3.8m older adults living alone, 35% struggle with daily living activities. An estimated 150k+ adults with learning disabilities receive care packages. 35k+ carer vacancies further exacerbate the care crisis.
GenieConnect® helps to enable independent living for older users & adults with learning difficulties, through services such as Remote care & Welfare Checks; Medication Compliance monitoring; Companionship by video calling a Care Circle of Friends, Family, & Carers; Mood captures & alerting & Entertainment services. The company road-map plans to add health monitoring; family Inclusion by dashboards/reports; user routine deviation alerts & data analytics, as well as allowing for user specific services.
For market context, pre-pandemic predictions of the EU “silver economy” value was €5.7tn by 2025, with a UK digital healthcare value of £2.9bn.
Service Robotics developed GenieConnect® in 2018, launching a commercial service in 2021 for local authorities & care providers.
