Idea

Since 2014 we've been making eating exciting and food more flavoursome. The business started in the kitchen of co-founders James and Pam after they became dissatisfied with the mass produced condiments they were buying from the supermarkets.

Sauce Shop is a craft condiment brand with in-house manufacturing facilities in the UK. We offer consumers a choice of fresh tasting, innovative and punchy flavoured sauces whilst also doing the 'classics' very well. Our Tomato Ketchup is the only one in the UK to win a 2 star Great Taste Award and the range has picked up 12 Great Taste Awards so far.

What started as a sideline to jobs in large scale production has turned into a mission to change what goes onto plates across the globe. The brand is now stocked in Sainsbury's, Ocado, Harvey Nichols, Whole Foods Market and hundreds of independent food retailers across the UK. Sauce Shop products are also on the tables of pubs, restaurants and catering sites across the UK, driving brand awareness. Our sauces are favoured by many street food traders who act as brand ambassadors throughout the country.

We are actively targeting 3 main channels:

- Supermarket Grocery - UK and Ireland

- Food Service - Restaurants, Pubs, Caterers (direct supply and 3rd party distributors)

- D2C E-commerce

Use of funds will primarily be to facilitate a move in premises to ensure that we can continue to meet demand.
