Established in 2013, Richard Brendon is a prominent British design brand creating contemporary and timeless tableware collections that challenge the expected. Our bone china is handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, the home of British ceramics, whilst our crystal glassware is mouth-blown and hand-cut in Slovenia.
As part of the £4.84bn exports of craft products from the UK, Richard Brendon has enjoyed a CAGR of 75% from 2015 to 2019, with 2019 revenue of £1.12m (Loss £226k). We are so proud that the brand has already been stocked in leading UK retailers, such as Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and Selfridges, and globally in Lane Crawford (HK), Bergdorf Goodman (New York) and The Beast (China). Our website has generated over 3000 orders, and we also supply several prestigious venues such as The Corinthia Hotel London and The Gleneagles Hotel Scotland.
We believe this is only the start of the potential market worldwide. Our ambitious growth plans include opening up new markets, as well as creating 4 additional collections over the coming years to develop existing channels and territories.
In 2017, Richard partnered with wine expert and FT legend Jancis Robinson, OBE, MW to create a fast selling collection, catering for wine lovers seeking the very best wine glass possible.
