Established & profitable with 8 urban spas, PURE’s mission is to make spa & beauty treatments part of daily life for UK men & women to improve their health, happiness & well-being. Funds will help open new UK spas, expand PURE's product range & grow the PURE Beauty Zone marketplace in spas & online.
Established in 2002, PURE provides accessible Spa & Beauty services. From the first salon in Edinburgh, PURE has grown to 8 urban spas in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen with a team of 150 serving 100K clients a year. In 2017 we reached £2.9m revenue with positive EBITDA of £215K.
PURE prides itself on service quality & customer reputation; achieving high ratings and reviews on TripAdvisor, Google & Facebook in all locations. PURE’s strengths are its culture, people, & proven profitable business model which succeeds in retail, hotel and leisure club settings. PURE was aided by 5.4% UK market growth for treatments in spas, salons & stores to £7.6 billion in 2017.
Group revenue is +21% YTD with growth in all spas, powered by new and loyal clients using PURE's website & smartphone app to instantly book & purchase treatments, gift cards & products. Two new spas opened in 2017 including London City. Edinburgh Newhaven spa (David Lloyd Leisure) opened in Oct.18 consciously replacing our Debenhams concession.
Integral to growth plans are:
- PURE's range of natural skin and body care products sold in spas, online and used in treatments.
- The PURE Beauty Zone curated marketplace for independent natural beauty products sold in spas and online.
With funds, PURE will grow by opening new UK spas, extending the PURE product range and increasing PURE Beauty Zone sales in spas and online.
