Founded by ex-professional skier Jim Adlington, Planks is a British ski brand built on a lifelong obsession with skiing, ethically producing technical ski clothing & streetwear. Pre-pandemic, we experienced 3 consecutive years of c40% YoY growth and sales of £1.85m in FY20 (FY: June - May), despite a premature end to the winter.
Planks is an omni-channel business, selling D2C via planksclothing.com & our Val d’Isère store. Ecommerce sales grew 55% in FY20, with a 4.7/5 average customer rating (FY21 to date: Revenue: £1.03m, EBITDA: -£508k). Global retailers include ASOS, Ellis Brigham (UK), Torpedo7 (NZ) & EVO (USA), with £476k (70%) of the wholesale forecast for FY22 already pre-ordered.
