NOVELTEA introduces distinctive premium alcoholic tea blends to the beverage market. Since launching in April, NOVELTEA has acquired high-end customers such as Harrods, John Lewis and Fenwick, with several other on and off-trade outlets in and outside the UK showing interest.
NOVELTEA (abv. 11%) aims to disrupt the alcoholic beverage industry by introducing a distinctive product portfolio around the concept of tea – the most consumed beverage in the world, after water.
Inspired by tea stories from around the world and named after eccentric tea tales, NOVELTEA comes in two distinct flavours; The Tale of Tangier and The Tale of Earl Grey.
The Tale of Tangier is an infusion of Moroccan green mint tea with Caribbean rum to deliver hints of exotic fruit and floral citrus notes, whilst The Tale of Earl Grey infuses Earl Grey tea with British gin and hand-selected botanicals to deliver a distinctively smooth and rich taste.
Both Tales are cold-brewed, vegan, gluten-free, free from any artificial colours, and manufactured in the UK. They can be served ice-cold on hot and sunny days but also warm in a classic tea cup during winter.
We launched NOVELTEA on 1st April 2017 at Fenwick Newcastle, where more than 1000 NOVELTEA bottles have been sold in this store alone. Since then, we have acquired 16 further customer accounts, launched at Harrods’ flagship store in London and will be available soon in at least 12 John Lewis stores.
Furthermore, we are in early discussion with potential distributors from foreign markets, such as Canada, India, China and Switzerland, and will aim to explore the international market in 2018.
