nHouse make spacious, high-tech and green 'grand design' style homes... in a factory. Following a 2017 Crowdcube raise, they have completed their R&D, product & brand development, supply-chain set up and achieved full BOPAS accreditation. With 500+ sales enquiries, the first build is underway.
The UK has a housing crisis. Not enough homes are being built and what gets made is often poor quality. nHouse, and the UK government say we should be making more homes 'offsite' in factories.
The reason? Better quality, faster production times, more environmentally friendly, higher output and improved efficiency.
Others agree. Billions are now being invested in our industry, the government has pledged to give support to 'modern methods of construction' and the Council of Mortgage Lenders has created BOPAS, an accreditation system reassuring mortgage lenders and house insurers.
And we are part of this change. We make and sell designer, eco-friendly, spacious homes for 'self-builders,' developers and social housing providers. These are made in modules in our Peterborough factory. A whole house in just 12-16 weeks.
In 2017 we raised almost £1m seed funding. Thanks to 700+ Crowdcube investors we were able to research, design and engineer a range of four house products, create a brand, build prototypes, set up our supply chain, launch, apply for BOPAS accreditation and generate over 500 sales enquiries.
New investment will fund a top class Sales Team, maintain our market awareness and hit our target of delivering 22 houses during 2019.
Disclosure: the Company is in the process of paying a negotiated settlement. Update: As of 25th January this has been settled outright.
