Nelson’s award-winning Gin Distillery believes there's a lack of innovation & brand loyalty in the Craft Gin market, as consumers often buy “off-the-shelf”. Having produced 100k bottles to date they now aim to challenge the market by creating the first of its kind global Gin School franchise.
Starting as a hobby 4 years ago former Chef, Neil Harrison, set out to create the best craft Gin and to educate others in the process. Through his passion, pallet for flavours and a small copper still testing on friends, word spread of Neil’s Gins.
In 2019 Nelson’s Distillery & School was formed by acquiring a 290ltr state of the art still (aptly named Victory) and the construction of a 28 seat Gin school. Neil quickly established his quality, being one of only a few craft gin companies to win a coveted 3-star Great British Taste award, plus 6 other awards over 2 years.
With 100k bottles produced so far, Neil recently joined forces with Mark Chambers, an experienced CEO having worked in the UK & Asia.
We've already developed an e-commerce solution, Gin School management platform & a Gin School Franchise model, so we're well-positioned to take advantage of the forecasted growth in the premium Gin market.
Traction:
• First trading year (YE Mar 20) we generated £381k revenue (-£69k EBIT). Online sales have grown from £38k (Apr - Dec 2019) to £183k in the same period of 2020, a 377% increase.
• 4 contracts have been signed with Hilton & Clayton hotels, three in the UK and one in Asia.
• Created a unique Franchise business model.
Join this exciting opportunity to deliver our international rollout and meet the goal of a Nelson’s Gin school in all major cities.
