Lekkid is specialised in the design and marketing of educational materials to develop children's creativity. Since its launch, the firm has sold more than 5,000 units in Europe, Asia and South America through distributors. Lekkid are seeking funds to develop new products and expand the brand.
Since 1998, there has been a global decline in creativity, imagination and critical thinking among children. The market demands new educational materials to cope with a dynamic model where knowledge and the necessary skills for successful adaption to a changing world can be assured. In short, it demands materials for a new 21st-century education.
Lekkid is a firm specialising in the design and marketing of educational materials to develop children’s creativity.
The project is inspired by the experience of motherhood of the main promoter, Nuria Torras. With her background in the world of advertising within creative teams, the firm has set its sights on creating a line of skills-based products to develop children’s creativity.
Our target audience is informed parents who are demanding and involved in the education of their children, within a global toy market with sales around $87.4 billion and an annual growth rate of 2.8%.
Since its launch, more than 5,000 units of Lekkid’s first product – Imaginary Fauna – have been sold in Europe, Asia and South America.
Lekkid will focus its efforts on developing new products, implementing the Communication Plan (trade fairs and marketing) and expanding into new markets; United States and Canada.
