King & Tuckfield is a premium mens & womens clothing brand, specialising in tailor-made denim and merino, inspired by the heritage of a British family. The brand sees constant growth within slow fashion, a movement gaining momentum, and one which embraces transparency and design for longevity.
King & Tuckfield is a brand that tells stories. The heritage of the founder's own family history, influence the collection giving it an ownable handwriting and a timeless quality, whilst remaining modern. The brand ethos is anti-throwaway fashion that favours the originality and quality workmanship and believes that sustainability starts with consumption.
True to our brand's values of provenance and family history, we embarked on our journey aiming for longevity in both shapes and materials, in the same way our parents bought their clothes, took pride in them, cared for them and frequently passed them down to the next generation.
Our fans include Jim Chapman, Richard Biedul, Emma Willis, Laura Jackson and Linda Tol. We focus on slow fashion, sustainability and Made in Britain. We launched into the market in July 2016 and have reached a turnover of £40k in Yr1 & £260k in Yr2 (EBITDA -£240k).
Having self-financed the business for the initial 2 years, we are now looking to raise £150k, with the aim of achieving faster eCom growth, improve our sustainable material research, expand on collaborations and exclusive capsules and solidify our operational rigour. All directors' loans are converted to equity so there is no debt financing.
