Music streaming is hugely profitable and is forecast to grow to 200m paying subscribers by 2019. Jeeni aims to provide a music streaming platform not only for the well-known artists but also for the undiscovered talents. Jeeni is raising funds to complete the development of its software platform.
Streaming services are the most profitable entertainment media ever, with billion dollar revenues for the companies who not only own the content but also distribute it to their subscribers. It's projected to reach over 200 million paying subscribers to streamed music services by the end of next year.
Jeeni aims to generate new revenue streams for undiscovered talent and established world-class artists alike. There will be five revenue streams operating in parallel. These include subscription-based memberships, payments for artist fanbases, payments for artist showcases, ticketing to masterclasses & online concerts and the direct sale of albums and merchandise to fans.
As well as celebrity awards and tie-ins for credibility and excitement, our service will include self-selecting popular choices based on global votes from real people, plus a ready-made marketplace of existing artists with their own networks for the sale of digital formats, vinyl and special edition packages.
The funds raised will be used for pre-launch marketing campaign across traditional and social media and will be used to complete the development of our software platform.
