Hoox was born out of a passion for fishing and being on the water. Inspired by the competitive spirit that all anglers share, our mission is to build a global community, providing technical apparel, products, experiences and innovative fishing events. Think of us as the Under Armour of fishing.
Our mission is to grow the Hoox Club into a 3,000 strong membership and our intention is to charge a £120 p.a. fee.by end 2019 and develop a collection of performance fishing clothing and accessories that we anticipate will be supported by members and customers.
In our opinion, fishing trips are about growing content for film and photography as well as reaching the best fishing spots in the world. Whether that is at the Cawdor Estate in Scotland, fishing for salmon, bonefish in the Bahamas or tuna in Croatia, we believe that the most exclusive locations and best guides are worth the time and investment.
Our Hoox distribution facility in East Sussex can handle all of our sales and will be fitted out to ensure that our products are picked and packed quickly.
We actively encourage community through planned members' events and believe in supporting creatives and we aim to support sustainability in as many ways as we can.
The consumer fishing market we operate in is huge at over £3bn in the UK, $46bn US.
Our journey so far has, we believe, proven a customer need for a high-quality fishing brand with amazing customer service.
We launched the business out of our own pockets and have taken a further £50k investment.
The money raised will be used for branding, marketing, membership club, product diversification and scaling the business across Europe.
