Harts Group Ltd, parent company of critically acclaimed Barrafina and Quo Vadis restaurants, is for the first time offering the chance to invest in the business. The company, whose EBITDA growth has averaged 19.9% per year since 2013, is raising funds to support an expansion to King's Cross.
Harts Group is an independent restaurant group; food and quality driven, independently run, and personally managed.
The group owns Quo Vadis and Barrafina. Quo Vadis is a British restaurant offering produce-led food from the much-respected chef Jeremy Lee, and attentive service. It also has a members club, offering a home-from home in Soho, a uniquely fun place for a night out, and multi purpose events space.
Barrafina offers top quality Spanish tapas, charming service, the theatre of counter bar dining, and private event spaces.
The original Barrafina opened in Soho in 2007, and in 2014 and 2015 there opened two more, at Adelaide Street and Drury Lane in Covent Garden.
In 2014, Barrafina Soho was awarded a Michelin Star, which been has retained since. In 2016, Observer Food Monthly awarded Adelaide Street, Restaurant of the Year.
The Harts took on Quo Vadis in 2008, with Jeremy Lee joining in 2012. In 2013 the restaurant was awarded the Tatler Award for best kitchen. In Esquire's 2018 Food Issue, Quo Vadis' Smoked Eel Sandwich was dedicated a full page as an 'Object of Desire.'
In October 2018, Harts Group will open the biggest Barrafina yet at Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross. There will be 34 covers inside, 60 on the terrace, and a private dining room accommodating 20.
There are commercial and directors loans in the business.
