Green Kitchen, founded in 2015, started trading in Liverpool as one of the few health focused Chinese fast food brands in March 2017. It started as a food delivery service and but now we've opened our first high street shop near to Anfield Stadium, with the aim to open more later on this year.
Green Kitchen aims to develop a UK healthy Chinese fast food chain brand by promoting our healthy eating concept. We have had really positive feedback from our customers and some consider it to be ''the best Chinese we ever had'. Vegetarian & Vegan food is provided as well.
Our central kitchen based business model enables us to:
- Standardise the food and get better quality control with calorie & nutrition info available for our food.
- Expand quickly because no site kitchen needs to be built while opening a new shop, thus cost is low.
- Pre-made food can be served in 2-5 minutes after receiving the order which is why we call it a fast food brand. Our central kitchen is 1,400 sqft which our estimates predict is capable of supplying food for up to 8 Green Kitchen restaurants in Liverpool.
We want to build another 3-5 stores including a flagship store in Liverpool before we start expanding to nearby cities like Manchester and Birmingham. Stores are all designed for different locations. We also envisage motorway service station stores and drive-through stores in the future.
Over the past 5 years, the fast food and takeaway market has kept growing. Our research suggests that UK Customers want a reliable healthy Chinese Take-away brand which is a well established movement in China but not yet in the UK.
