Gomingo is an accommodation booking platform aiming to provide a clean, experience-led user journey for millennial travellers. Soft launched to guests in April 19, acquiring 82.5 users & 2630+ monthly sessions, on average. Now raising to increase marketing effort, accommodation and experience offerings.
Our goal is to provide a clean and inspiring user experience for the millennial traveller. Our mission is to address the high commission charged by established Online Travel Agents and improve the user experience on offer. We want to make listing accommodation online fairer and cheaper for the host, and share the benefits of a lower price with our guests.
Success so far:
- Soft launched to guests in April 2019, acquiring immediate booking interest in its first month of test advertising.
- Rank above booking.com and other competitors on Google search for select destinations.
- Attracted coverage from travel industry publications PhocusWire, Travel Weekly and Travolution.
- Signed partnership agreements with My Air buddy, to provide property management services to our hosts and secondly with an AI-backed event and activity app.
What’s Next?
Global travel is expected to earn $755 billion dollars in 2020 and the key driving forces behind this is the millennial sector.
We are looking for investment to scale our technology and connectivity to increase listed inventory while integrating a third-party experience functionality. Gomingo aims to acquire new users through partnerships, targeted social media advertising and the acceleration of our successful search campaigns.
