Idea

When it comes to Health & Fitness gender equality means embracing the differences in order to use them to improve performance. It is a reality that menstrual cycle causes physical and emotional changes and accordingly it's important that women acknowledge these changes in order to unlock the full potential of their bodies.

Gazella is the first running app that goes beyond the running experience to embrace women’s uniqueness allowing them to benefit from it, turning what has traditionally seen as a problem to their advantage. The first version of the app, already downloaded more than 10k times in the Google Play in less than 3 months since launch, offers running plans that automatically adjust to each user's menstrual cycle.

The vision involves creating an app that covers all the needs of women from a sports and wellness perspective, based on scientific research, self-discovery and women empowerment. A worldwide community that share the same interests: women that follow a healthy lifestyle and that want to take on new personal and sport challenges in their lives.

With running being the most popular form of exercise and the increasing popularity of health & fitness apps, Gazella is well placed to grow in the market. The current femtech revolution will allow Gazella to capitalize on the increasing popularity of personalized feminine services.
