For Good Causes turns Loyalty points and rewards into donations for charities, providing a new way for people to give after cash and card. People can choose to give to the causes closest to their hearts. Brands get a whole new CSR opportunity and charities get much-needed funding.
For Good Causes (FGC) is aiming to change the Loyalty industry by enabling consumers to donate the value of their loyalty points, miles or cashback to the charity of their choice. Research suggests there is over £7bn in unused rewards in the UK – value that is currently not doing anybody any good.
Our mission is to create a new way for consumers to give to the charities they care about most – enabling them to give more without drawing on their bank balance.
So to help brands really engage with their consumers and charities to raise more funds, we will build our platform to allow consumers to redeem their rewards into cash for the charity of their choice.
In the last 9 months FGC has:-
• Positive consumer response from our research - 51% claimed they would participate
• Designed the technology platform based on Amazon Cloud architecture and commenced the build - estimated 2 months additional build requirements to launch
• Agreed with 5 charities to promote FGC to their supporters, including Walking with the Wounded and Prostate Cancer UK; other major charities being engaged
• Signed a Heads of Terms with Quidco, one of the largest cashback sites in the UK and a signed contract with another major Loyalty platform
