Erpingham House is aiming to revolutionise the way we think about food.A year after opening the UK’s largest vegan restaurant & establishing proof of concept in Norwich, we are seeking funds to grow the brand & open a 2nd site in Brighton, ahead of a national roll out to take veganism into the mainstream
Erpingham house is currently the UK’s largest vegan restaurant, on a mission to take plant-based dining into the mainstream. Our focus is on health-promoting, delicious food & drinks that are as kind to humans as they are the planet!
Since it's launch in May 2018, EH has gained national recognition, being listed in The Times top 20 vegetarian restaurants , featured in The Guardian & featured on channel 4’s “what Britain bought.” Serving over 12,000 customers in it's first year & recently reinvested to create a bar & co-working space inside the same building. We've grown to over 20,000 followers on Instagram.
The vegan dining economy is booming. A 2018 survey by YouGov showed 49% of millennials think vegan restaurants will be the most in demand in the next 2 years. Demand for meat-free food in the uk also increased by 987% in 2017 & a 2018 survey showed that there are 3.5 million vegans in the UK now.
Investment will go to opening our second location in the U.K’s vegan capital, Brighton, which has huge demand but lacks more formal vegan dining. This is the next stage in our founding teams plan for a national roll out, to bring vegan dining into the mainstream.
This is an opportunity to invest in the future of hospitality & our planet, to lessen our impact & spread a more conscious way of eating out.
