Our subscription-based business model simplifies the way customers buy & receive plants, delivering straight to their door. The younger generations (from 25-45) have an increasing interest in plants, but have neither the time to spend, nor the knowledge or means to get to & shop at a garden centre.
Bloombox Club exists within four growing consumer markets: subscriptions, horticultural, wellbeing, & e-commerce. Together these are worth a total of £156.4bn in the UK alone, with B2B segments offering further opportunities.
Over the last year Bloombox Club delivered 5,250+ orders nationwide and grew in revenue by 400% to MMR of £26k in Sept'18 (Annual P&L to Aug'18 -£131k). We have worked hard to streamline a sustainable and green business model & currently use bespoke, plastic-free packaging to ensure the safe delivery of plants. Funds will be used to scale & optimise the B2C opportunity & to build the infrastructure needed to enter into B2B.
