Asterley Bros make handcrafted British spirits, aperitifs and liqueurs, using all-natural ingredients for the modern palate. Currently exporting to Hong Kong & Singapore, they seek investment to increase sales and marketing and to expand their production facilities.
Asterley Bros make three bottled aperitif products, with a fourth planned launch in October 2019. They have been listed in some of the UK’s best bars, restaurants and stores including The Connaught, Claridge’s, Nightjar, The Gibson, Fortnum’s and Harvey Nichols.
They were finalists in the BBC Food Programme's Drinks Producer of The Year 2017 and have featured in The Observer, Metro, Stylist Magazine and Foodism.
The global vermouth market is forecast to be $14b by 2022 and the aperitif market $13b by 2025. 2018 also saw sales of Aperol and Campari increase by 56% and 39% respectively over 2017.
Asterley Bros develop products with macro trends in mind: botanically rich, low in alcohol, vegan, and with transparent processes and ingredients, unique in aperitif production. Our customers are passionate about craft spirits and their provenance. They love gin, drink negronis, eat out regularly and drink cocktails in great bars.
Asterley Bros are raising investment to:
- Invest further in sales and marketing, working with a specialist distributor to assist with UK sales
- Develop export opportunities
- Expand production capacity with new equipment
- Develop a range of 'everyday vermouths' including RTD vermouth cocktails in cans
